Xingyiquan

In our school, we practice Che Xingyiquan.

The classes take place every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM in Reckange-Mess

Xingyiquan belongs to the internal Chinese martial arts and evolved from the art of the spear.

  • Xing = Form
  • Yi = Consciousness, Imagination, Intention
  • Quan = Fist, Martial Art

The origin or development of Xingyiquan is attributed to Li Luoneng, (1808-1890/1788-1876), who previously studied the Dai style under Guo Weihan and later under Dai Erlui (Da Wenxiong).

Che Yizhai, also known as Che Yonghong, became an official student of Li Luoneng in 1856. He expanded the study of his martial arts by researching Xingyiquan to systematically refine its contents.

Che Xingyiquan traces back to Che Yizhai (1833-1914).
